I found Joe after searching for someone who I could relate to and who had my best interest, goals, and health in mind. After doing a lot of research online, I stumbled across an advertisement for an OCB show that he promoted. I saw his name, checked out his website, watched a few of his videos in order to get an idea of the kind of person he was. I was so impressed with his style and immediately felt so comfortable without even speaking to him. I decided to inquire about training and he got back to me within the hour…What customer service! We spoke that day and without hesitation I knew that he was a great match for me. By that evening, I had my entire meal and workout plan. I got started the very next day!

I was hesitant to embrace the IIFYM (If It Fits Your Macros) approach since I was convinced that I could only achieve my goals by eating chicken and broccoli, but figured that I would give it a shot. My previous (and only) experience with a trainer left me starved, sick, muscle-less, and even led me to a trip to the hospital. What else did I have to lose?

In a little under 3 months, Joe took me from the state I described above to the stage. I was doing less cardio, eating more, not destroying myself in the gym, AND putting on lean muscle mass. I won the Overall Novice trophy and placed second in a very competitive Open class. My next show was 2 weeks later, resulting in an Open Overall win and my ANBF Pro Card. Never in a million years would I have thought that I could accomplish something like this, especially in such a short amount of time.

Joe has not only helped me grow as an athlete, he has also played a crucial role in helping me develop as a person. From struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, and a developing eating disorder from my previous experience, Joe has turned me around 180 degrees. I no longer suffer from any of the above. He has helped me realize my personal potential both in and out of the gym.

I am thrilled for today and so excited for what the future holds.
